Performance

Presenting how real musicians sound in real spaces allows the music's message to get through with all of its creative potency.
You will experience your favourite music as if for the first time, as the Oladra reveals new and deeper connections to the artistry and passion that created each performance.

Technology

The Oladra employs premium parts through four separate processing stages to perfect the digital audio signal.
Processing by two custom computers is followed by two isolated regeneration and clocking stages.

Dual Computers

The powerful custom Oladra Server computer ensures snappy response to your commands, and extracts the maximum musical detail to stream to the Player.
The custom Oladra Player computer presents a signal with exquisitely accurate timbre, saturated tonal density, natural dynamics and compelling musical expression.

Signal Processing

The digital signal received from the Player computer is isolated and regenerated using an ultra-stable clock, to remove spurious noise and square-out the wave so that its timing is precisely defined.
The final processing stage isolates, regenerates and reclocks the signal again with reference to oven-controlled ultra-low phase error femto-second clocks, and transmits it to your DAC.

Reviews

Stereophile

"I felt I'd never heard sound so open, warm, smooth, maximally colored, and musical through my system. I sat spellbound at the glorious sound of one of Mozart's early acts of genius. When soprano Carolyn Sampson began singing, heaven's gates opened before me."

HiFi Advice

" ..deep tonal saturation, natural timbre, seductive lushness, beguiling liquidity, and organic flow ..a wholly unforced delivery with huge emotional involvement."

HiFi News

"The combination of fluidity and drama makes for a magnificent sound, more than up to the level of any amplification with which you may choose to use it."

HiFi Statement

"On her live album Nightbird, Eva Cassidy not only sings with a more credible, full-bodied and fascinating voice, I also experience the instruments accompanying her with more intensity in the fundamental tone, which leads to a more authentic sound. The resolution and the spatial presentation that the acoustics in the Blues Alley jazz club suggest are not lost in any way. I experience the music more emotionally..."

Lite Magazin

"the Oladara delivers a lot of dynamics even in subtle details and, thanks to good transparency, doesn't miss any detail. I've heard the tracks on this album hundreds of times, and yet the Antipodes still serves up nuances that seem to be unknown to me."
